This activity, which can be carried out in person at the IAJ facilities located at 4 Franco and López Street in Zaragoza, lasts for 50 to 60 minutes and is open to a group of 4 to 5 young people aged between 14 and 30 years old.
The space where the activity takes place meticulously recreates a real situation of gender-based violence in which participants must use their ingenuity to intervene actively through different clues, codes, riddles, and the information provided during the game. Through this recreation, the aim is for participants to immerse themselves in a situation that unfortunately becomes all too common.
The ultimate goal of this simulation is to provide a new awareness tool that helps young people in Aragon become aware that gender-based violence and abuse are clear manifestations of inequality, subordination, and power dynamics of men over women.
The activity will be available for groups of young people at the following times:
- Friday evenings (2 sessions): from 17:00 to 18:30 and from 18:30 to 20:00.
- Saturday mornings (2 sessions): from 11:00 to 12:30 and from 12:30 to 14:00.
- Saturday afternoons (2 sessions): from 17:00 to 18:30 and from 18:30 to 20:00.
To participate in this activity, which is free of charge, it is necessary to fill out this form, always with a 5-day notice before the requested date.
For educational centers and youth associations, sessions can be adapted to their demand at any time and day of the week by contacting the Aragon Youth Institute via email or by calling 976 716 882 (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, from 9:00 to 14:00).
