The Government of Aragon approves the annual labor calendar, following a hearing with the most representative trade unions and employers in the Council of Labor Relations of Aragon.
It is determined in accordance with Article 37 of the Workers’ Statute and its implementing regulations.
A total of 14 holidays are established, two of which are local.
Autonomous communities may use the authority to move the corresponding rest day for holidays that fall on a Sunday to the following Monday.
The list of holidays is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon. These festivities are considered non-working days for administrative purposes.
The Day of Aragon, April 23rd, the traditional celebration of San Jorge, is established as a public holiday throughout the territory of Aragon.
