La kotxera, is a group created in 2020 as a non-professional band formed by rock and music lovers from various professional fields and different towns in the region. It combines covers and versions of the best national rock and punk-rock, for a show lasting close to two hours. Location: Plaza del Torico. Organized by the Government of Aragon and Teruel City Council.
Wednesday, 23rd. Feast of San Jorge – Aragon Day
- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Book and Rose Day in Teruel. Location: Plaza del Torico. Florists and bookstores in Teruel participate in the flower and book market. Authors from Teruel will sign their books. Organized by the Government of Aragon and Teruel City Council. Collaboration: Open Commercial Center and ACESTeruel.
- 11:00 AM. Giants and Bigheads Parade. Location: Departure from Youth Center at Plaza Domingo Gascón. Organized by the Government of Aragon and Teruel City Council.
- 12:00 PM. Children’s Animation: The Kinser Productions company presents the show «Come and See». A reduced version of the circus show «Come and See», aimed at all audiences. In this exciting proposal, you can enjoy an incredible variety of circus acts that may include acrobatics, pantomime, and juggling. A perfect combination of theater, clowning, and circus promises a unique and entertaining experience for young and old, offering a show full of magic, laughter, and amazement in one dose. - 12:30 PM. Prize-giving of the IX Short Story Youth Contest «Teruel, city of Love». Subsequently, the winning works will be read by the awarded young people. The theme of this edition is «Love and dreams in Teruel».
- 7:00 PM. Jota Festival of San Jorge by the group «Friends of Jota» from Teruel. Location: Plaza del Torico. Organized by the Government of Aragon and Teruel City Council. On the occasion of the feast of San Jorge, the Cultural Association «Friends of Jota» presents us with a jota festival in honor of the patron saint of Aragon. The event will include both sung and danced jotas.
